Day 115 from Thacker Pass by Max Wilbert | May 11, 2021 | Resistance Updates | 1 comment 1 Comment Marianne on May 14, 2021 at 9:45 am Everything that Max Wilbur says here about Thacker Pass: About the Earth and about our lives past, present and future, completely resonates with me. As a 65 year old woman who began to worry about the future of our planet back in the early 70s, and who returned to the very same concern in the 90s when I learned that the mountain gorillas, that I love, are losing their homes in the DRC not primarily due to hunting but to mineral mining, that led me to an awareness of the massive harm that humans are causing to our planet. I’m now so relieved to find like minded people: People who can see the truth that our blind consumerism is creating; people who can see the urgency to wake up the consciousness of the only species that can stop the destruction, and people that I hope will inspire me to find my path in this. My daughter had brought my attention to this situation at Thacker Pass. Bon courage! Reply Leave a Reply to Marianne Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
